How can I convert my common stock into CDIs tradeable on the ASX?

To convert your holding of shares into CDIs (that are tradeable on the ASX), please refer to Shareholder letter and forms below:

What is a CHESS depositary interest or CDI?

The electronic transfer system used on ASX, known as 'CHESS', cannot be used directly for the transfer of securities of foreign companies. Accordingly, to enable companies such as Simavita to have their securities cleared and settled electronically through CHESS, depositary instruments called CHESS Depositary Interests (CDIs) are issued.

For those investors familiar with the concept of American Depositary Receipts (ADRs), CDIs are an Australian equivalent of an ADR.

What is a share of common stock?

Shares of common stock are the Canadian equivalent of ordinary shares in an Australian company. Simavita is incorporated in Canada and hence has common stock on issue.

Can I convert my CDIs into common stock?

Yes, to convert your ASX listed CDIs into common shares (that are tradeable on the TSXV), a CDI holder will need to:

1. Complete and return the Register Removal Request (Australian Register to Canadian Register) form.
2. For CDIs which are sponsored on the CHESS sub-register, your sponsoring broker will arrange for completion of the form on your behalf and its return to Computershare Australia.

Computershare will then issue to the former CDI holder a corresponding Direct Registration System (DRS) advice, or, on the request of the holder, deposit the common shares into their Canadian brokers account at the Canadian Depository for Securities (CDS) or other CDS participant as requested.

The form should be returned to Computershare Australia:
